Helping in the Pacific

Mr Foureyes is firmly focused on helping out New Zealand children - but we would love to be working further afield as well. Mr Foureye's co-founder Ravi Dass's strong personal ties to the Pacific keep drawing him back - along with the people he meets along the way. Here, he shares some of his experiences volunteering in the Pacific with Volunteer Opthalmic Services Overseas.

Volunteering is a big part of Ravi's life, even now his focus is mainly on New Zealand children - he still aims to do a volunteer trip every year. Most trips rely on donated glasses - if you have some spare pairs lying around at home that you would like to donate, feel free to pop them in the post to us, especially if you're also sending in some frames for reglazing.

Congratulations Ravi on the fantastic work you are doing in the Pacific. So many people owe their current state of increased happiness and usefulness to you and those helping you. Keep up the good work! – Trevor, Lions Club of Karori
